The Role

The Senior Project Manager will be a key member of our growing team, making a significant contribution to the businesses culture and atmosphere. You will be required to work alongside the multiple disciplinary engineering design team to deliver on the development of RF and Digital products for our OEM customers.

Working to influence internal and external partners, you will be an experienced project manager ideally with knowledge of the product development process. This hands-on role requires a drive to see projects to completion with the ability to both inspire and communicate effectively with peers, Directors and customers alike.

Role Objectives

To drive the quality standards, processes and procedures for project delivery across the business, developing Slipstream Design’s project management approach to ensure it is fit for growth, implemented consistency and understood across the team,
To develop capacity and forecasting processes to allow the business to take proactive decisions across projects for successful growth and delivery of a high quality service,
To manage a portfolio of development projects resulting on time, on budget delivery,
To influence and positively challenge design teams to drive projects to completion, identifying and unblocking issues with a hands-on approach,
Uphold excellent stakeholder relationships and develop trust in Slipstream Design’s engineering capability.

Slipstream Engineering Design Ltd is a Digital and Microwave RF design company providing engineering services to the Communication, Aerospace and Security industries.

Founded in 2011 and based in Shipley West Yorkshire, Slipstream Design has a strong customer base of major Original Equipment Manufacturers who come to us for our hands-on and flexible approach.

The company has a pedigree and track record in markets such as Radar and Transponder Systems, High Power RF Amplifiers, Wireless Communications and Industrial Products. The majority of our projects deliver prototype hardware or software but equally our experienced team have taken products through to volume manufacture.
