Bringing kV Pulsed RF Power In-House

As part of the next phase of Slipstream Design’s Innovation & Manufacturing Zone, we are proud to announce that we’ve brought high-voltage power converter design and test for pulsed RF applications in-house.
At the end of 2025, a core group of our engineers completed specialist training with Centrica and British Gas, earning the City & Guilds Accredited Safe Isolation of Low Voltage Systems qualification. This ensures the team can work safely and confidently with kV-level power electronics.
With the recent installation of new equipment, Slipstream Design can now develop and test products up to 1,500 V, expanding our pulsed RF power supply capabilities. This milestone positions us at the forefront of high-performance radar power systems and advanced digital signal processing applications.
Our new capability enables faster development cycles, reduced programme risk, and smoother integration into next-generation sensing and communications platforms.
